Cambrian Players Improv Show

#LSN_Arts
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - April 14, 2019 (LSN) Multiple Personality Date, Human Puppets, Dead Bodies… it may sound like a horror movie, but these are just a few of the games you may see performed when Thunder Bay’s favourite Improv group, Cambrian Players Improv, once again takes to the stage on April 27 at the Cambrian Players Theatre (818 Spring Street)!
Imagine having to make up a heavy metal song about a colonoscopy (a highlight of last month's show), or carry on a conversation with each sentence in alphabetical order. The talented, close-knit cast does it all at the drop of a hat.
The audience – and the performers! – have no idea what could happen during the two hour show, but laughter is guaranteed. Colourful characters, silly situations, and rapid-fire hilarity are made up on the spot and all begin with suggestions from you, the audience. You never know what they may ask for as inspiration, so be prepared to yell out locations, relationships, or perhaps what you had for dinner as a starting point for a scene. Braver audience members may even have a chance to participate.
Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are $5 at the door. For two hours of entertainment you can't go wrong! Snacks and soft drinks available for purchase. Please note we are not currently handicap accessible. Find Cambrian Players Improv on Facebook for more information on upcoming shows and weekly improv sessions.
Note: Shows often include mature content and strong language.
