Artist Opportunities: professional development classes, exhibit calls and grants

GRAND MARAIS, MINNESOTA - October 26, 2016 (LSN) Art Colony has been working hard to create a curriculum of new classes that help artists develop their professional practice.
The curriculum has four core areas: 1. Developing a Body of Work, 2. Enhancing Internal & External Communication, 3. Goal-Setting for Advancement, and 4. Financial Fluency. This Fall we are initiating the first few classes in this curriculum. We hope you will join us!

ARAC Grant Writing Workshop

There is a wealth of grant support available to artists through the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council for funding anything from equipment needs to career development opportunities or artist projects. Amy will give an overview of the grant-writing process and ARAC standards. Participants will define their needs and goals and work independently or in pairs to ready their grant for submission, checking in at key points in the process.
This class is meant as a working grant-writing group and is NOT an official workshop provided by the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council.
This session will be cancelled November 6, 2017, if minimum enrollment it not met. Please register before this date.
