Paramount Live’s
SUPER BATTLE: THE WEST AND THE MIRROR WORLD

#LSN_Arts crafted under the directorial leadership of Spencer Hari
THUNDER BAY ONTARIO - November 14, 2017 (LSN) This week Paramount Live’s Fall/Winter 2017 season’s first production takes to the stage with an original play titled SUPER BATTLE: THE WEST AND THE MIRROR WORLD.
Super Battle: The West and the Mirror World is a play that was crafted under the directorial leadership of Spencer Hari. Like one of his previous productions for Paramount Live Ozlahoma, was crafted by the kids enrolled in the program. Through their ideas and uniquely developed characters, Spencer Hari takes their thoughts and story ideas and weaves them into one seamless story. This year the show is called Super Battle and it is about the original adventure of Hunter, Charlotte, Angel and Rick West. When the village is attacked by the evil forces of Queen Skull Crusher and her Fearsome
Foursome, it is up to the four kids to find their missing friends. Will the journey to the Mirror World be successful or will it lead them into a super battle? This play invites audiences to join them in this mystic and silly story full of interesting and crazy characters.
Director Spencer Hari said that it was an “honour and joy to work with this amazing group of kids over the past few months to craft something that has never been seen before.” Hari was even able to work around his Magnus Theatre commitments this fall as he appeared in their season opening production of We Will Rock You. In those weeks he worked with them to develop the script and “the ideas and characters they have developed are rich with individual quirks and personality” said Hari “Of course there were times that we didn’t see eye to eye, but that’s because I’m so much taller than all of them” he added with a smile.
