Culvert Work to Cause Temporary Road Closures Mid-Week Cook County

GRAND MARAIS, MINNESOTA  October 23, 2017 (LSN)   Weather permitting, the Cook County Highway Department will be replacing two cross-culverts in the County on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Work is expected to take place as follows:

•  Wednesday, Oct 25 – Cross-culvert replacement on CSAH 6, approximately one mile north of CSAH 7 or 500 ft south of Brandon Lane. Travelers should expect a delay of up to 45 minutes between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm.
•  Thursday, Oct 26 —Cross-culvert replacement on CR 60, approximately 500 ft east of CR 56 (Dairy Road). Travelers should expect a delay of up to 45 minutes between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm.

Those travelling near the construction zone are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage. Thank you for patience as Cook County works to improve our road infrastructure.
