The Thunder Bay Parade of Lights is celebrating the 20th Anniversary on Saturday, December 1st, 2018., at 7:00 p.m. The most wonderful time of the year and everyone is invited! That's right you are going to see some outstanding magical Christmas displays made with love by our selfless & generous entrants!
Over the years many families attend the Parade of Lights as one of their Christmas traditions! We hope that the 2018 parade will fill your hearts and ignite your Christmas spirit!
Last year the event was able to donate
$30 412 to Children, youth and young adults with Special Needs in Thunder Bay. The benefitting charities are Autism Ontario - Thunder Bay, George Jeffrey Children’s Centre, Special Olympics - Thunder Bay & Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding Association.
New in 2018 we are very excited to be offering a sensory friendly area. Drivers have been instructed that all music, horn honking & noise is stopped in this area. See Parade Route map for location on our website: www.paradeoflights.ca
T
his year participate in our online 20-20-20. In addition to our parade walkers collecting cash donations the night of the parade we are asking for your support to donate $20 for our 20th Anniversary to raise $20 000 on Go Fund Me. This will help us reach or exceed our 2018 fundraising goal of $40 000. Online donations can be made at: www.gofunme.com/parade-of-lights-thunder-bay

We want it to be a fun & safe Parade of Lights for all. We ask that ALL Parade of Lights watchers, parents, guardians, & children keep OFF the roads while watching the parade
Also, please do NOT leave or exit the Parade of Lights until the school bus followed by a police car has past your location. This is your sign that it is safe to leave. The purpose of this is to ensure the safety of the volunteers who are collecting donations as they are being picked up.
