North Shore Steelhead Association Presents
4th annual Fly Fishing Film Tour
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO, January 17, 2018 (LSN) The North Shore Steelhead Association will present the 4th annual FLY FISHING FILM TOUR 2018, at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium on Saturday February 17, 2018.
"Come out for a night of fishing films, a vendor fair, symposium and free giveaways. Suitable for all anglers & fly fishing enthusiasts, conservationists, nature lovers, film buffs, and anyone suffering from winter fever.”
From 6pm to 7pm, a symposium in the lobby and vendor fair features displays of local fishing and outdoor companies plus several artisans. At 7pm, well known fisherman/journalist Gord Ellis will introduce films from around the world featuring such places as Africa, Dubai, Alaska, Honduras and the Arctic. Incredible scenery and photography is the norm for these high quality adventures. One of the films this year, features local fly fisher/photographer, Rebekka Redd and the famous Tiger fish of Africa.
The film night is an inexpensive evening out during the “winter fever” months to dream about warmer activities. If you can’t get away this winter, here is an opportunity for the community to soak up some sunny films, socialize and possibly win some free prizes.
Tickets are now on-sale at the TBCA box office, online, by phone at 684-4444, or toll free at 1-800-463-8817. Cost $15.
