INVASION AND TAKEOVER OF THUNDER BAY BY TORONTO STREET GANGS.
THE UPHILL BATTLE FACED BY THE THUNDER BAY POLICE SERVICES.

#LSN_Crime South Ontario Guns Drugs Gangs taking over
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - July 24, 2018 (LSN) THE BIG MONEY BEING GENERATED AND SIPHONED OUT OF OUR CITY BY THESE OPERATIONS.
No one is really sure the exact date when this one group arrived in Thunder Bay, but they did come. There are many groups like this one. And with them, they bring guns, drugs and bad intentions. Their illegal business activities focus on one thing and that is money. There are no rules for them when it comes to acquiring cash. Violence is a perfectly acceptable solution in their minds for their business dealings. It’s a growing plague on the city, with no plan in place by city council or the Acting Chief of Police for combatting it.
It’s thought that this gang has connections to one of the most notorious Toronto gangs, The Galloway Boys. But that cannot be confirmed. What can be confirmed, is that on June 15,2018, 26 year old ADRIAN PUENTES-REED and 25 year old KALID YOUSUF from Toronto were arrested in a rented Ruttan Street home by Thunder Bay Police executing a search warrant.
Let’s roll back before the arrival of police when one of these gangsters calls the landlord about home repairs required. A repairman arrives to do the repairs and notices something odd in the rental house. On the kitchen counter sat a handgun, large bundles of cash and drugs. The repairman said nothing while making the home repair. Upon leaving the home, he decided that perhaps these tenants weren’t of the most upstanding character. He contacted Thunder Bay Police.
A TOTAL 753 200$ CANADIAN CASH SEIZED BY POLICE IN ONE HOUSE.
Thunder Bay Police acquire a search warrant. What police discovered next is one of the largest cash busts in Thunder Bay history.
Items seized during the search:
- 753 200$ in Canadian currency. Packaged in various bundles at numerous locations throughout the home.
- A cash counting machine.
- 800 grams of cocaine
- 56 grams of crack cocaine
- 2 pounds of marijuana.
- A heavily contaminated drug scale.
- A total of 4 handguns.
- A loaded Glock 9 mm handgun with 2 high capacity magazines loaded with hollow point bullets. It was traced back to being stolen from a gun store in Brant County in Southern Ontario.
- A loose bag of ammunition containing 53 rounds of 9mm hollow point bullets.
- A .32 caliber Browning semi automatic handgun.
- A .380 caliber Diamondback semi automatic handgun.
Other interesting discoveries by the police included a drawer containing several identifications and a key with an address on it. The address was 53 Cumberland St. South Apt 202. Police leave the key in the home. More on the key later.
Both these men were previously unknown to Thunder Bay police.
PUENTES-REED was born in Mexico but living in Toronto area for many years before coming to Thunder Bay. He stands about 5’7” tall , has a very fair complexion for a person of Mexican heritage. He wears geeky looking glasses and keeps his hair cut very short.
YOUSEF is believed to have been born in Canada. He’s a slim Muslim man who stands about 5’10” tall, slim build and has very black skin colour. He has a beard and hair tied back in man bun.
It appears the both men were running what is commonly referred to as a “safe house” where gang business can be conducted safely.
THUNDER BAY POLICE SERVICE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS DID A MEDIA RELEASE ON THIS BUT FAILED TO MENTION THERE WAS OVER 3/4 MILLION DOLLARS SEIZED. HE ALSO MISSED OUT ON OTHER PERTINENT FACTS AND HASN’T RELEASED ANY PICTURES OF THE SUSPECTS ARRESTED. BOTH MEN REMAIN IN CUSTODY AND HAVE A SPECIAL BAIL HEARING SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 19,2018.
Back to the identifications found. One of the identifications found in the home was of a 17 year old youth. His initials C.R. He was born in Sudan and moved to Canada with his Sudanese parents. His mother lives in Mississauga with her 4 other children. C.R. is the oldest. He’s about 5’8” tall. His skin colour is so dark that it appears to be the colour purple. He doesn’t look incredibly bright, has mongoloidish looking facial features with lower jaw protruding. His mother thinks she has a very good son who is not a bad boy.
THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS PUT OUT A MEDIA RELEASE ABOUT THE JUNE 20,2018 ARREST BUT REMOVED IT FROM THE POLICE WEBSITE WITHIN WEEKS. WHY ??
On June 20,2018 the Thunder Bay Police Service had an apartment under surveillance at 129 McKellar Street. Police observed numerous people coming to the apartment, staying short time and leaving. Activity consistent with a “trap house”. A place where drugs are sold to public. One of the observations made is that the vast majority of clients coming are they are indigenous. Police observe a red car pull up with 2 white Thunder Bay females. A 34 year old CHELSEY NICOLE HARDY of Thunder Bay is driving. A 38 year old SARAH LYNN ANDRYCHUK is in front passenger seat with a dog in her lap. Two black men exit the apartment. A 17 year old youth entering the rear of car is C.R. The other man is 20 year Kingsley Ivan Christie who is believed to be originally from Jamaica. Police follow from distance. Police observe vehicle committing a traffic infraction and conduct a traffic stop in 200 block of North Harold Street. The traffic stop leads to the seizure of 5 ounces of cocaine. Sources indicate that as the vehicle was being pulled over that one of the gangsters in the back seat screamed loudly at the woman in front passenger seat to stash the cocaine down her pants. Thunder Bay Police call in a female officer who performs the search on front seat female passenger and finds the 5 ounces of cocaine. C.R. had 600$ cash on him. Everyone in car is arrested. Police get search warrant for “trap house” at apartment on 129 McKellar St.
Police discover a Glock 9mm handgun with loaded magazine of ammunition. Also discovered is a .40 caliber Springfield handgun with the serial number removed and 2 magazines of hollow point ammunition. Also discovered during the search warrant is a 19 year old Antoine Peters, a black male from Toronto area. Police were unaware he was in Thunder Bay. Peters had 1340$ cash on his person. There was 24 800$ cash in the McKellar apartment and a further 185 grams of cocaine. There was also a quantity of prepaid Visa cards.
Federal Crown Attorney Ron Poirier argued at a bail hearing last week to Justice of the Peace Bruce Leaman that Sudanese born C.R. should not be released on primary, secondary and especially the tertiary grounds. His Worship Leaman dismissed Federal Crown Poirier’s concerns and said the public would not be outraged at the release of C.R. because they don’t even know who C.R. is because of publication ban on his identity.
THE PUBLIC SHOULD BE OUTRAGED AT THE RELEASE OF THIS TEENAGE TORONTO GANSTER.
C.R. was released on 5000$ no deposit bail and returned home to Mississauga, Ontario with his Sudanese born mother, a permanent resident who failed her Canadian citizenship exam. C.R’s next court appearance is youth court on August 9,2018. He was ordered to surrender his Red Cross passport at the Peel Regional Police headquarters within one week of release on bail.
REMEMBER THE KEY FROM RUTTAN STREET WITH ADDRESS FOR APARTMENT 202 at 53 CUMBERLAND STREET SOUTH? Well, as it turns out, that’s the “stash house”.
The Thunder Bay Police Officers didn’t forget it. They left the key at the Ruttan Street home. And put apartment 202 on 53 Cumberland Street South under surveillance. On July 11,2018, their patience paid off. A 22 year old white male TANNER HUNT aka street name JON JON was arrested and the apartment was searched. Thunder Bay Police seized 3 kilograms of high grade cocaine and an additional 20 930$ in Canadian currency.
A SEMI- RELATED EVENT HANDGUN AND DRUG EVENT IN DRYDEN.
The Dryden OPP have seized multiple loaded guns, a large quantity of guns and Canadian Currency after a recent traffic stop.
On July 2, members of the Dryden OPP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 17 in the City of Dryden, after Highway Traffic Act offences.
THERE WAS A HIDDEN COMPARTMENT IN THE CAR
Police have charged 23-year-old TREVON JENNINGS of Etobicoke, Ontario, and 25-year-old JOHNATHAN NETZEREAB of Mississauga, Ontario, for a variety of offences.
Both have been charged with:
- Trafficking cocaine,
- Possession of cocaine,
- Trafficking heroin,
- Possession of heroin,
- Two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon,
- Two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm,
- Two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose,
- Careless storage of a firearm.
Both of the accused are being held in custody in Dryden.
One of the handguns found was also traced back to the theft of over 30 handguns from a gun store in Brant County several years ago.
On October 10,2014 the Brant County OPP investigated the theft of “a large amount of handguns” from a store near Burford.
OPP say Triggers and Bows on Colborne Street West, in Mount Vernon, was broken into at approximately 12:30 a.m. on that day. Two of those handguns have now been retrieved from these Southern Ontario gang members.
THE CURRENT SITUATION IN THUNDER BAY IS THERE ARE SEVERAL TORONTO AND OTTAWA GANGS RUNNING SIMILAR DRUGS AND GUNS OPERATIONS IN THE CITY. THIS IS ALL ABOUT MONEY TO THEM AND THEY AREN’T AFRAID TO USE THEIR WEAPONS IN AN EFFORT TO FORWARD THEIR ILLEGAL BUSINESS MOTIVES.
Remember the dead body on Marks Street last year? A 21 year old EDMOND CLOVIS from Toronto was stabbed in the eye during a drug ripoff during daylight hours on a street filled with families. As an extra measure of disrespect, the would be robber had his ass slashed with the knife. The suspected would be attacker is 29 year old MICHAEL CLEGHORN from Toronto area.
So why care if these gang members kill each other ?
Most citizens don’t care, but it’s a matter of time before an innocent passerby gets hurt or killed with this knife and gun play.
There was a gunfight at a house in McKellar ward a few months ago. Again, no news coverage of this.
ARREST WARRANT ISSUED FOR ALLEGED DRUG AND GUNS CRIMINAL “856” GANG MEMBER ROBERT TERNOWSKI OF CALGARY.
ROBERT TERNOWSKI of Calgary was arrested on September 26,2014. He was released on bail. Ternowski failed to appear for court on October 5,2015.
THE BAIL COURTS CONTINUE TO FAIL THE CITIZENS BY RELEASING THESE DANGEROUS GANGSTERS REPEATEDLY.
It’s been almost 3 years now and the Media Communications Director at the Thunder Bay Police hasn’t put out a Wanted poster on this guy. WHY ? The other members of his gang got relatively short jail sentences.
These gangs are in the business of human trafficking as well. You’ve heard on social media about all the recent abduction attempts on women in our city recently. These gangs usually prey on the vulnerable. So, there’s no telling how many have been abducted.
THE COMING GANG WAR IS GOING TO BE VIOLENT AND BLOODY.
Several weeks ago, a high ranking member of the Manitoba Warriors gang went to have a meeting with a black Toronto gang. This particular Manitoba Warriors leader has an extensive criminal record and has done several years in prison. He approached the black gang members and asked them to demonstrate some ethics while selling drugs and not cut so much fentanyl into their products. It was killing customers, particularly indigenous customers. Their response to him? They beat him with a hammer and left him alive but a bloody mess. They even video recorded it as a message to others. I’ve seen the video. It’s not pretty. This member of the Native Syndicate walked away very bloodied but did not go to police about it. Calls were made far and wide to other members of the Manitoba Warriors. Sources indicate they are mobilizing reinforcements to the city. Large scale retaliation to this hammer attack will be the counter response. The Thunder Bay Police Acting Chief is very aware of this impending gang war but has thus far not communicated anything to the citizens of Thunder Bay.
WHY WON’T THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS OR HIS BOSS, THE ACTING POLICE CHIEF TALK PUBLICLY ABOUT THE TAKEOVER OF THE CITY ?
That’s a good question with few answers. The Director of Communications was never a police officer and his previous job was selling ads for tbnewswatch. If you follow tbnewswatch, you’ll see quite regularly that they get copies of the rare police media releases before any other news agency or even the police website release. Is he playing favourites ? Most other police departments use real, experienced officers to run the communications and media releases. But in Thunder Bay, we’ve settled on paying a former ad salesman for a failing local news station a whopping 130 000$ a year to handle this very important function for TBPS. WHY?
This writer received a letter written May 2,2018 from the Thunder Bay Police lawyer advising me that I was in violation of the Communication Director’s precious Wanted Wednesday program for using the photos without permission. Apparently, the Acting Police Chief, the Director of Communications or the police lawyer have never heard of Section 29 of the Copyright Act. I post the Copyright Act disclaimer every Wednesday to educate the police lawyer and Director of Communications on how the law works. They seem to have shut up since I posted the disclaimer. I also know they sent a similar letter to another internet news site advising them they were in “violation”.
Now, let’s move on to the Acting Police Chief. What her history ? Well, she spent a lot of time in school. Lots. One of her signature projects in Thunder Bay was Community Policing. And we all know how well that project worked out for the city. Does community policing even exist anymore ? Does your community feel safer now that she had a chance to implement her program ? I’d suggest to you, the program was a failure for a couple of reasons. Lack of officers and a piss poor plan.

On May 8,2018, this Thunder Bay Court House Inside Edition did one of its “IMAGINE” columns. Here is that column in its entirety. It received in excess of 50 000 views.
...........................JUST....IMAGINE............................
IMAGINE....if you lived in one of the most beautiful and scenic areas anywhere in the world
IMAGINE....there is a city in this area and it has a major escalating crime problem
IMAGINE....the city has a Mayor & Council who want to pretend the problem doesn’t exist.
IMAGINE....the city has a police force where the rank and file officers are hardworking, caring members of the community.
IMAGINE....the police station was built on a swamp years ago and wasn’t properly engineered.
IMAGINE....they added a second floor to an improperly supported structure.
IMAGINE....the police station has structural issues and is now too small to accommodate the exponential increase in crime.
IMAGINE....the police officers are using cars with excess of 300 000 kms on the odometer. They’re becoming unreliable and cost more in maintenance than what they’re worth.
IMAGINE....small armies with guns and drugs driving to our city from all over. Mostly Ottawa and Toronto. They are locked and loaded.
IMAGINE....police officers concerned about their safety on a daily basis as levels of violence increase due to lack of available manpower.
IMAGINE....the city has a fire department that has at least 30 firefighters on duty at all times.
IMAGINE....the city has less than 15 police officers on the road at any given time. Maybe even 9 officers on a busy Friday night for the WHOLE city.
IMAGINE....the difference it would make staffing the police department with the same numbers as the firefighters have.
IMAGINE....a City Council that won’t come up with a funding plan to address these serious deficiencies.
IMAGINE....hiring a Director of Communications who doesn’t really like to communicate. Maybe he was hired not because of skills but because of other reasons. He’s never been a police officer.
IMAGINE....this Director is too busy monitoring Facebook pages and trying to figure out how to stop the truth from coming out instead of doing the job that citizens want him to do.
IMAGINE....paying that Director a 6 figure salary to put out a few media releases a week.
IMAGINE....the Director will only distribute his pathetic media releases via email to a select chosen few even if others have gone through the process to get registered as a news and media business.
IMAGINE....he doesn’t put the efforts of the rank and file officers in a positive light.
IMAGINE....letting national news outlets spin a negative narrative about the force.
IMAGINE....the Director accepts the narrative even though it’s false. He won’t stand up to support the department that pays him. People wonder why not.
IMAGINE....he adds a new section to the website to try convince people that he’s working hard to address issues. But he neglects other areas that really matter.
IMAGINE....the Unsolved Crimes section of the website shows a total of SIX UNSOLVED CRIMES. One entry each for 2016, 2014, 2005, 1995, 1984, 1982. That’s the entire unsolved crime list for the history of the city.
IMAGINE....police officers work hard to catch bad guys. Courts release quickly. Police catch again, courts release again. Over and over.
IMAGINE....the taxpaying public who respect and support the police service. They want to help where possible.
IMAGINE....the public isn’t aware of these issues because someone who is paid to communicate can’t or won’t do it.
IMAGINE....a useless local mainstream media that are merely whores for the Propaganda Pimp
IMAGINE....they want to be informed of the issues facing their community. They want to see solutions to address the problems.
IMAGINE....it’s an election year and the public is fed up. They won’t vote for a single incumbent. They will vote for a council that will support our police department and give them the resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. The council will demand a Director that communicates important issues to the public regarding safety.
IMAGINE....the council and city administration putting forth policies and directives to actually assist the police in reducing crime in the city.
...........................JUST....IMAGINE...........................
Well, something in that column triggered the overeducated Acting Chief. It was the part about the lack of police officers on the streets of Thunder Bay. She sent out a memo to all police officers basically admitting that officer safety is an issue but it should not be publicized. She went on to warn all police officers not to talk to me. She also stated in her memo that Thunder Bay Police are closely monitoring my page. It appears that factual and truthful things bother her. I think she spends too much time monitoring social media trying to keep the citizens in the dark.
But just because she read university books doesn’t make her a smart or good leader. I didn’t get the information from police. The police association jumped all over her memo and admonished her for admitting officer safety is an issue and demanded that she address it with a plan. In fact, she even writes in her follow up correction letter that crime rates are rising in the city and she expects the OIPRD investigation into the alleged systemic racism to reveal that WE NEED MORE OFFICERS AT TBPS. Sadly, she didn’t even bother to attend or hold any news conference about any of these drug and gun busts.
Look at what other police departments do, the Chief always has the spotlight and is the face of leadership. Her leadership style is not one that inspires the rank and file men and women to follow her vision. Frankly speaking, she has no vision or plan. She rules with a hammer. Step out of her line and feel her wrath. Thunder Bay deserves better leadership for the position of Chief of Police. There are several fine quality Inspectors at the department who would thrive well in the position of Chief.
And let’s not forget the Thunder Bay Police Services Board. Joe Virdiramo and Keith Hobbs must not be re-elected. Virdiramo doesn’t even live in Westfort ward Thunder Bay, he merely owns property there. They happily collect their taxpayer money for all the Police Service Board meetings and do little to nothing in the way of affecting real change at TBPS.
THE CITY REQUIRES REAL CHANGE.
Which leads us to City Council and their solution. THEY DON’T HAVE ONE. They are wanting more methadone clinics and now safe injection sites to normalize drug use instead of offering actual rehabilitation facilities. The problem with this normalization is that the junkies need to continue feeding their habit. And that is usually done by criminal means, sometimes violent. Break and enters, home invasions, robberies, breaking into vehicles, theft etc......all these crimes are rising in the city. It’s a means for the addict junkies to continue feeding their habits. The gangs don’t care where the money comes from, as long as they get it. The City of Thunder Bay under the leadership of Keith Hobbs, Joe Virdiramo and all the remaining council have presided over the largest increase of gang activity drug dealing and guns in Thunder Bay’s history. It’s something they don’t advertise.
As you can see, there is no easy solution. Having spineless, ineffective leadership is not helpful. Every incumbent councillor NEEDS TO BE VOTED OUT in November. EVERYONE. We need a City Council who will send a strong message to the Attorney General that we require bail change in the province. A message needs to be sent that the public will be outraged when a Justice of the Peace releases the out of town Drugs and Guns suspects. That message can be sent through you and your vote in the fall election. We have a police friendly provincial government in place now to reverse the disastrous crime increasing policies of the McGuinty-Wynne liberal era.
VOTE FOR A NEW CANDIDATE WHO WANTS LAW AND ORDER FOR OUR CITY. VOTE FOR A NEW CANDIDATE WHO WILL GIVE THE POLICE THE INCREASE IN RESOURCES REQUIRED. IF THEY COME TO YOUR DOOR TO ASK FOR YOUR VOTE, ENGAGE THEM ON THIS TOPIC. IF THEY TELL YOU, CRIME ISN’T A PROBLEM IN OUR CITY, SEND THEM ON THEIR WAY.
OUR CITY IS AT A CRITICAL TIPPING POINT. WE EITHER PROPERLY FUND OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT AS WELL AS ADD MORE HUMAN AND EQUIPMENT RESOURCES OR WE SURRENDER THE CITY TO THE GANGS.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS TO MAKE. LET THE GANGS TAKE OVER AND CRIME RUN RAMPANT OR TAKE BACK THE CITY FROM THE INEFFECTIVE POLITICIANS WHO ACT LIKE GODS AND CARE ONLY ABOUT THEMSELVES AND THEIR FRIENDS.
THE LATEST VIOLENT CRIME FIGURES SHOW THUNDER BAY HAS ALMOST TRIPLE THE VIOLENT CRIME RATE OF TORONTO AND THE SECOND HIGHEST VIOLENT CRIME RATE IN CANADA. YET, TORONTO HAS ASSIGNED ADDITIONAL RESOURCES TO COMBAT THIS, AND THEIR POLICE CHIEF AND CITY COUNCILLORS HAVE SPOKEN OUT PUBLICLY AGAINST THE VIOLENCE.
ON OCTOBER 22,2018, CITIZENS OF THUNDER BAY HAVE A CHANCE TO MAKE THE CHANGE TO TAKE THEIR CITY BACK FROM VIOLENT GUN TOTING GANGS COMING HERE.
VOTE WISELY.
