OPP Removing Methamphetamine off the streets of Kenora

KENORA, ONTARIO - January 29, 2018 (LSN) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)-Kenora Community Street Crime Unit with assistance from the Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) have charged a Kenora man with drug related charges following an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the City of Kenora.
On Thursday, January 25, 2018 at approximately 9:45 am, as a result of an ongoing investigation, police arrested a male in the north end of Kenora. Upon searching the male, police located approximately 6 grams of Methamphetamine and other items associated with the drug trafficking trade. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be nearly $1800.
As a result of this investigation, 51 year old Brian HENDRICKSON of Kenora has been charged with;
- · Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine. 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
- · Fail to Comply with Recognizance s. 145(3) Criminal Code.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on January 31, 2018.
