South May Street, Drug Arrest

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - September 8, 2018 (LSN) Members of the TBPS Intelligence Unit arrested a male yesterday afternoon on South May Street for the possession of a controlled substance. Upon the male's arrest officers located what they believe to be 60 grams of fentanyl, 88 capsules of hydromorphone and 55 grams of marihuana.
Police also seized $1,800 in currency. A subsequent search warrant resulted in the seizure of 2 pounds of marihuana and $12,500 in currency. The value of the drugs seized is approximately $17,600.
Scott Wilson, 37 year old of Shuniah is charged with the following offences:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Marihuana
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Hydromorphone
- Breach of Probation
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
Wilson appeared in court this morning and was remanded into custody.
