Man Arrested for last June Home Invasion with handgun
Police did not warn community.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - February 3, 2019 (LSN) Man wanted for last June's Home Invasion with hand gun, Captured by Thunder Bay Police. The Public was not notified by Thunder Bay Communication officer at the time of the Home Invasion.
36 year old (turns 37 on Monday) CHARLES PAUL COLLETTE appeared by video in W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court) today, Saturday February 2,2019 from the Thunder Bay Police Station. His Worship, Marcel Donio is presiding. Federal Crown Arturo Acosta and Provincial Crown Derrick Silvestro are here along with Duty Counsel Joy Wakefield.
The court hears allegations that COLLETTE was arrested by TBPS Officers with a 1/2 ounce of cocaine in his possession.
COLLETTE was also arrested on outstanding warrants related to an alleged Oliver Road home invasion and assault with a handgun.
He is facing break and enter with intent, as well as assault with a handgun charge.
Both federal and provincial crowns are opposed to the release of COLLETTE.
He is being transferred to the Thunder Bay Jail and will make a video appearance from there on Tuesday February 5,2019
He will spend his 37th birthday at the Jail.
He’s ordered not to contact his 2 alleged victims.
