THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - June 13,  2019   (LSN) Investigators with the Project Disruption joint task force arrested 10 and seized cash and drugs following the search of several apartment units in a building in the 200 block of Pearl Street just before 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 12.

Through the course of an investigation, police learned the units were being used by suspected Toronto-area gang members for drug trafficking and being aided by local residents.

Officers obtained and executed search warrants on three units and as a result seized a quantity of crack cocaine, Morphine and Oxycodone pills, nearly $40,000 CAD, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking. The drugs seized have an estimated street value of about $7,000 CAD

Anthony Wayne MCCULLOUGH, 32, of Thunder Bay is charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

A 16-year-old Toronto male is charged with Possession of a Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, and Fail to Comply with Sentence.

Paul Winnifred VIVIER, 28, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.

Jahmal Oliver KERR, 27, of Toronto, is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, and Probation Order Non-Compliance.

Shahin RASHID, 26, of Toronto is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.
Richard Melvin SMITH, 63, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

Mekhi Kyle CUFFIE, 21, of Toronto, is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Fail to Comply with Condition Recognizance.

Daniel Ezekiel GYAN, 24, of Toronto, is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Fail to Comply with Condition Recognizance.

Simeon Sylvester KENO, 32, of Thunder Bay, Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Fail to Comply with Condition Recognizance.
Denise YELLOWHEAD, 31, of Thunder Bay is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

All accused appeared in court Thursday and were remanded into custody with a future appearance date.

Project Disruption is an ongoing specialized joint force operation that includes resources and members from the Bay Police Service’s intelligence unit, OPP, Nishnawbe Aski Police Service and Anishinabek Police Service.
