2 Scarborough men Arrested

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - May 17, 2019 (LSN) Members of the joint task force, Project Disruption, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Cumming Street last night. As a result, 2 Scarborough men are facing multiple charges.
TBPS Emergency Task Unit officers entered the residence just before 9:30 p.m. Two males fled through a window as officers entered the apartment. Both were pursued and arrested. A subsequent search of the residence led to the seizure of crack cocaine and a substance suspected of being fentanyl along with cash and a replica firearm.
Street value of the drugs is estimated at $25,404 along with approximately $23,000 in cash.
20 year old Dishanti Ezekiel Dillon and 19 year old Tyrese Oneal Wright , both from Scarborough Ontario, are charged with:
· Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 counts each)
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
· Obstructing a Peace Officer
Both men have been remanded into custody for their next court appearance on May 23, 2019.
Project Disruption is an ongoing specialized joint force operation that includes resources and members from the Bay Police Service’s intelligence unit, OPP, Nishnawbe Aski Police Service and Anishinabek Police Service.
