Jail Study Master Plan Main Focus of Upcoming Committee of the Whole

COOK COUNTY, MINNESOTA - September 13, 2018 (LSN) At the Sept 18 Cook County Committee of the Whole, the Jail Study Master Plan facilitated by Wold Architects will be the primary topic.
The principle recommendation from the Study is to expand on the current jail and Law Enforcement Center site to accommodate a 12-month County Jail Program. This will include additional space for jail, program, Dispatch and Law Enforcement operations and Emergency Operations Center space.
Commissioners and Sheriff Pat Eliasen will be on hand to answer questions and discuss next steps in the process.
