THUNDER BAY, Ontario – January 2, 2018 (LSN) The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Monday that Dryden GM Ice Dogs forward Jacen Bracko has been named its CCM Hockey performer of the month for December.
In seven outings last month the 20-year-old Calgary, Alta., product amassed 13 points on seven goals and six assists. He also supplied one game-winning marker during the time frame.
Currently riding a five-game point streak and sitting second in SIJHL scoring, Bracko leads Dryden in offensive production heading into January with 40 points on 21 tallies and 19 helpers.
A veteran of 84 SIJHL contests overall, Bracko has produced 121 points along the way, including 62 goals.
Also earning consideration for the SIJHL’s CCM Hockey performer of the month award for November was Jared Pedersen, (F) Thief River Falls Norskies; Joe Newhouse (D) Thunder Bay North Stars; Jacob Siebenga, (F) English River Miners; Zac Horn, (F) Minnesota Iron Rangers & Julian Uhryniuk, (F) Fort Frances Lakers.
CCM Hockey is an official partner of the SIJHL and the following awards for the 2017-18 season:
Performer of the Month; First and Second All-Star Teams; Top Defenceman; Rookie of the Year, Playoff MVP and the Gary Cook Memorial Award.
