Thunderwolves ranked in Top 10 University Hockey

TORONTO, ONTARIO - November 6, 2018 (LSN) For the first time in over four years, the Lakehead Thunderwolves have broken into the U SPORTS Hockey Top 10 rankings. The Thunderwolves are off to a good start this season and with a record of 7-2 in OUA play and 11-3 overall, and came in ranked #10 in the country in the latest poll released today.
The last time Lakehead appeared in the Top 10 was March of 2014 after a making a playoff run all the way to OUA West Division finals.
Other ranked OUA teams include Ottawa and UQTR of the East Division as well as West Division-rival Ryerson, which will be visiting the Gardens later this month.
Lakehead will return home for a two-game series against the York Lions at the Fort William Gardens next weekend.
